A useful resource for those of us navigating the link between spirituality and science. This is growing all the time... and just begun.

Aether:
A hypothetical medium once thought to permeate all space, allowing for the propagation of electromagnetic waves. While rejected by mainstream physics after the Michelson-Morley experiment, some alternative theories still explore aether-like concepts to explain wave propagation and quantum phenomena.

Archon:
A term derived from Greek meaning "ruler," often used to describe powerful beings or authorities in various contexts. In some spiritual and esoteric traditions, Archons are viewed as cosmic rulers or forces that influence human affairs.

Atheism:
The absence of belief in deities or religious doctrines. While often contrasted with spiritual practices, some atheists engage in meditation or mindfulness for their psychological benefits without religious connotations.

Bell's Theorem:
A mathematical proof demonstrating that quantum mechanics violates certain inequalities (Bell's inequality), indicating that reality cannot be fully described by local hidden variables.

Biofeedback:
A technique using electronic monitoring to help individuals gain awareness and control over physiological processes. It's used to improve physical and mental health by providing real-time feedback on bodily functions like heart rate or muscle tension.

Biofield Therapies:

Practices that aim to influence the energy fields believed to surround and penetrate the human body, such as therapeutic touch and healing touch.

Biohacking:
The practice of using science, technology, and self-experimentation to optimize physical and mental performance. This can include techniques like meditation, dietary changes, or technological interventions to enhance human capabilities.

Black hole:
A region in space where gravity is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape from it. Formed by the collapse of massive stars, black holes are characterized by an event horizon and a singularity, challenging our understanding of physics at extreme conditions. Some say that this is the same way that light and dark runs in cycles - once full of light a black hole explodes and all the light is revealed again. We cannot have light without dark.

Celestial Being:
Spiritual entities or divine beings that inhabit a heavenly realm in religious and mythological contexts. In Christianity, this term often refers to angels or other divine creatures associated with the spiritual hierarchy.

Channeling:
The practice of allowing a non-physical entity or consciousness to communicate through a living person, often for the purpose of conveying messages or information. Channeling can involve various degrees of awareness, from full consciousness to deep trance states.

Classical Physics:
The branch of physics that explains phenomena on a large, observable scale. It includes Newtonian mechanics and electromagnetism.

Download:

A download is a casual term to describe the process of receiving information, skills or learning from the unseen unified field, generally through higher states of consciousness. In an altered state in meditation, Anne has seen her DNA changing with an entire book being 'downloaded' into it like pages running on an old printing press and later the book comes out via channeling. There is much science now showing us that DNA is a storage device with capabilities beyond computing technology. Books have in fact been loaded onto human DNA and later recovered intact from it. Anne's meditation experience has been validated now with these studies.

Dualism:

A philosophical theory that posits the mind and body are fundamentally distinct entities. It argues that mental phenomena (thoughts, feelings, consciousness) are non-physical and separate from the physical brain, suggesting the existence of two fundamental, interacting realms of reality.

Electric Universe Theory:
A cosmological framework proposing that electromagnetic forces and plasma dynamics play a central role in shaping cosmic structures. It suggests an interconnected universe where energy exchange and communication networks (e.g., Schumann resonances) underpin both physical and spiritual phenomena. Spiritual interpretations posit that this "divine spark" within all matter enables communion with a life-coherent universe through practices like prayer and meditation.

Elementals:
Beings associated with the classical elements of earth, water, air, and fire in occult and alchemical traditions. These include entities such as gnomes (earth), undines (water), sylphs (air), and salamanders (fire), as described in the works of Paracelsus. To see these beings humans can dial in their consciousness frequency to the lower levels.

Energy Healing:
Alternative healing practices based on the belief in manipulating subtle energy fields surrounding the body. While scientifically controversial, some view these practices as ways to promote physical and emotional well-being.

Energy Psychology:

A field that combines psychological and spiritual approaches with concepts from energy systems to address psychological issues.

Energy Quantization:
The concept that energy exists in discrete units or packets, rather than as a continuous spectrum.

Entanglement:
A quantum phenomenon where particles become instantaneously connected, regardless of distance.

Epigenetics:

The study of how behaviors and environment can cause changes that affect the way genes work, which some relate to spiritual practices.

Extra-terrestrial:
Any entity or object originating from or existing outside of Earth. This term is commonly used to describe potential life forms on other planets or celestial bodies beyond our planet's atmosphere.

Game Theory
A mathematical study of strategic decision-making, often applied to social and economic interactions. Spiritual parallels emerge in how religions use "irrational" individual acts (e.g., forgiveness, gratitude) to achieve collective harmony, resolving social dilemmas akin to Nash equilibria. These practices align with divine commands that prioritize communal well-being over self-interest.

Holographic Universe Theory:

A theory suggesting that the universe is a hologram, which some interpret as having spiritual implications.

Light Being:
Ethereal entities or energies believed to embody the purest forms of spiritual light and consciousness. They are often considered to be highly evolved spiritual beings that guide and influence the evolution of consciousness across the cosmos.

Map Of Consciousness:

Dr. David Hawkins' study of emotions and energy frequency is a form of consciousness research. He developed the Map of Consciousness, a tool that details 17 different stages of consciousness with corresponding energy calibration values. Hawkins used a unique muscle-testing method, conducting over 250,000 calibrations during 20 years of research to define a range of values, attitudes, and emotions that correspond to levels of consciousness. This approach combines elements of kinesiology and consciousness studies to explore the relationship between human emotions, consciousness, and energy frequencies.

Medium:
A medium is an individual who acts as an intermediary between the living and the dead, communicating messages from spirits of deceased loved ones or other non-physical entities. Mediums use their intuition and extrasensory perception to receive and convey these messages, often providing comfort or guidance to clients. Anne is one of these. A medium is not necessarily 'tapped in' all the time as they are dependent on being in the appropriate frequency and allowing in the communication that spirit would like to communicate. Generally there is less interpretation or values overlay from the practitioner, than with a regular psychic where the line between conscious mind and intuition can overlap or merge.

Metaphysics
The branch of philosophy examining the fundamental nature of reality, consciousness, and existence. It explores questions beyond empirical science, such as the relationship between mind and matter, free will, and the nature of divinity. Historically linked to spiritual traditions (e.g., Upanishads, Daoism), modern metaphysics increasingly intersects with quantum theory and consciousness studies.

ModernPrayer

This is Anne Miles' own adaption of many different practices of consciousness technologies that enables two way conversation with the spiritual realms, linked in through the conscious mind, intention, channeling, commands, visualisations and transcendental meditation.

Morphic Resonance:

A hypothesis proposed by Rupert Sheldrake suggesting that memory is inherent in nature and that natural systems inherit a collective memory from previous similar systems.

Multiverse:
The multiverse is a hypothetical concept suggesting that our observable universe is just one of many, possibly infinite, universes that exist in parallel or separate dimensions. These universes may have different physical laws, constants, or properties, and theories about the multiverse arise from various fields, including cosmology, quantum mechanics, and philosophy, though empirical evidence remains elusive. Anne's own exploration suggests we don't live in multiple realities but we have ideas and memories of potentiality that can be experienced like holographic projections running simultaneously, but only have one source of truth code here on Earth.

NCQ Theories:
Theoretical frameworks that incorporate aspects of both classical and quantum mechanics but cannot be fully categorized as either.

Neurofeedback:

A type of biofeedback that uses real-time displays of brain activity to teach self-regulation of brain function.

Neuroplasticity:
The brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections. This capacity allows for adaptation to new experiences and recovery from injuries. Spiritual practices like meditation can induce neuroplastic changes, enhancing emotional regulation and empathy.

Neuro-rewiring:
A concept related to neuroplasticity, involving intentional efforts to change neural pathways. This can be achieved through various practices, including meditation, visualization, and cognitive behavioral techniques.

Newtonian Sciene:
A framework of classical mechanics developed by Sir Isaac Newton in the late 17th century. It describes the motion of macroscopic objects under the influence of forces. Key components include: Three laws of motion, Law of universal gravitation and the understanding that for or every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Some say that this framework no longer is adequate to explain our entire reality but still remains useful for measuring mass, volume and speed. Quantum mechanics is needed beyond this.

Noetic Sciences:
An interdisciplinary field exploring consciousness and its potential to affect the physical world. It investigates phenomena like meditation, distant healing, and the nature of consciousness itself.

Non-Quantum Phenomena:
Observable events that can be explained by classical physics, such as the motion of large objects or planetary orbits.

Panpsychism: A philosophical perspective proposing that consciousness or mind is a fundamental feature of all matter in the universe. It suggests that even elementary particles possess a form of consciousness, with complex consciousness (like human minds) emerging from the combination of these simpler conscious entities.

Physicalism:
The view that everything in the universe, including consciousness and mental states, can be explained by physical processes and properties. This theory holds that consciousness emerges from complex neural activity in the brain and is not a separate, non-physical phenomenon.

Portal:
In physics thought experiments and science fiction, a hypothetical connection between two points in space-time that allows instantaneous travel. Portals challenge conventional understanding of gravity and energy conservation, raising intriguing questions about the nature of space-time.

Possession:
Possession generally refers to a state where an entity is believed to take control of a person's body without their consent. This differs from channeling, which is typically a voluntary practice, though both involve the concept of an external consciousness influencing or controlling a physical body. However, Anne's experience is that they are the same thing with our subconscious or higher self allowing in either negative or positive based on our auric field health, thoughts and consent - or lack of consent which might imply that a negative being can inhabit a human body until commanded to leave. See also 'Walk In' and 'Channeling'.

Psi
A term for anomalous phenomena (e.g., telepathy, precognition) suggesting consciousness transcends physical boundaries. Research links psi experiences to spiritual transformation, fostering humility, interconnectedness, and transcendence. Psi’s capricious, non-material nature challenges evolutionary self-interest models, hinting at a spiritual realm beyond biological imperatives.

Psionics
A speculative field exploring the interaction between consciousness and physical reality, often framed as "mind over matter." Rooted in parapsychology and esoteric traditions, it posits that focused mental practices (e.g., meditation, energy work) can align individuals with universal frequencies for healing or manifestation.

Psychic:
A psychic is someone who possess paranormal abilities, such as extrasensory perception (ESP), telepathy, or clairvoyance, which allow them to access information beyond the normal senses. These abilities often involve predicting future events, reading minds, or sensing hidden information, though the scientific community generally views these claims as pseudoscience despite growing robust evidence otherwise. Some people disregard the skills altogether, even if there is observational evidence that a psychic can know things about people and situations that otherwise would not be possible to know. Some act like it is 'mind reading', and act as if that's somehow cheating. A psychic tends to read the energy and information hovering around the human subject, which differs from a medium that is a transmitter between spirit and humanity.

Psychoneuroimmunology:

The study of the interaction between psychological processes and the nervous and immune systems of the body.

Quantum Mechanics:
The study of behavior of particles and systems at the microscopic level, introducing principles not found in classical physics.

Quantum Mysticism:

An interpretation of quantum mechanics that suggests consciousness plays a fundamental role in the universe.

Quantum Nonlocality:
The ability of quantum systems to display correlations between particles that cannot be explained by classical theories or local interactions.

Quantum Theory:
A fundamental framework in physics describing the behavior of matter and energy at atomic and subatomic scales, characterized by principles like wave-particle duality, quantization, and probabilistic outcomes. Emerging in the early 20th century through the work of Planck, Einstein, and others, it underpins modern technologies (e.g., semiconductors, lasers) and challenges classical notions of deterministic reality.

Religion:
Organized systems of beliefs, practices, and ethics centered around spiritual or supernatural elements. Religious involvement has been associated with positive health effects, ranging from reduced health-risk behaviors to potential impacts of prayer on health.

Resonance Theory:
The study of how systems respond to external forces or vibrations that match their natural frequency. Resonance occurs when an object absorbs energy from an external source, resulting in increased amplitude of vibration.

Sacred Geometry:
The study of geometric patterns found in nature and religious architecture, believed to reveal fundamental truths about the universe's structure. It encompasses shapes like the Vesica Piscis, Flower of Life, and Metatron's Cube, often associated with spiritual significance.

Schrödinger's Cat:
Schrödinger's Cat is a thought experiment designed by physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935 to critique the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. It illustrates the paradox of quantum superposition—the idea that a system can exist in multiple states simultaneously until observed. Schrödinger never intended to test the experiment physically. It’s a metaphor to expose flaws in early quantum theory.

Schumann Resonances:
Global electromagnetic resonances excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth's surface and the ionosphere. These resonances occur at extremely low frequencies, with the fundamental mode at approximately 7.83 Hz

Simulation Theory:
A hypothesis suggesting that our perceived reality could be an artificial simulation, possibly created by a more advanced civilization. Current scientific estimates place the probability of this being true at around 50%.

Singularity
In spirituality, this refers to a transcendent point where individuality merges with universal consciousness. In futurism, it denotes a hypothetical technological threshold (e.g., AI surpassing human intelligence). Both interpretations converge on themes of transformation, whether through divine awakening or human-machine symbiosis.

Somnambulistic Trance
An altered state of consciousness resembling sleepwalking, historically associated with mediumship or shamanic journeying. In spiritual contexts, it serves as a gateway to subconscious wisdom or communication with non-physical realms, emphasizing surrender over conscious control.

Spiritual Science:
An interdisciplinary approach that seeks to integrate spiritual wisdom with scientific inquiry. It explores the nature of consciousness, reality, and human potential through both empirical methods and contemplative practices. Spiritual science challenges the conventional separation between scientific and spiritual domains, suggesting that both can contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of reality and human experience
Key aspects include:

- Holistic perspective: Examining the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.Ancient wisdom: Drawing on traditional knowledge from various cultures and mystery schools.
- Expanded consciousness: Investigating altered states and developing latent human faculties through practices like meditation.
- Bridging paradigms: Attempting to reconcile scientific materialism with spiritual or mystical experiences.
- Empirical spirituality: Emphasizing personal experience and direct apprehension of truth alongside objective observation.
- Metaphysical inquiry: Exploring questions about the nature of reality beyond the physical realm.
- Integrative approach: Combining ethics, empirical methods, and personal insights in the pursuit of knowledge.
- Transformative potential: Aiming for personal growth, enlightenment, and a deeper understanding of existence.

String Theory:
A theoretical framework in physics proposing that the fundamental constituents of the universe are one-dimensional "strings" rather than point-like particles. It attempts to unify quantum mechanics and general relativity, potentially providing a "theory of everything".

Superposition:
A quantum state where a particle exists in multiple states simultaneously until observed or measured.

Timeline:
A representation of events in chronological order, often used to illustrate the subjective nature of time perception. In metaphysics, timelines can be explored to understand how factors like concentration, emotion, and physical experiences affect our perception of time's passage. Some consider different future potentialities as timelines for us to choose via quantum jumping, however Anne's exploration suggests we have one singular timeline in the 'here and now' and the field of potentiality including portals of consciousness are potentials formed by our consciousness and the collective consciousness like a hologram. Once we bring the experiences down into this timeline then the future potentiality that is no longer relevant dissipates like steam over boiled water collapsing into the one that is processed in our reality in this frequency of existence. This challenges the concept of a 'multiverse' and us living in multiple places at once, to becoming potentiality as a hologram we view instead. The work of Stuart Hameroff is a Professor of Psychology and Anesthesiology, and Director of the Center for Consciousness Studies at The University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona validates what Anne has been shown and seen in higher states of consciousness, aligning with the latest cutting edge quantum mechanics.

Thought Osmosis:

This is a term that Anne often uses to describe the way she receives information from the unseen realms. It is a type of thought transfer, as if absorbing the knowledge without the need for any processing by the conscious mind. As a plant absorbs water through contact with its cells, Anne absorbs knowledge in a type of transfer triggered by an image or a word. This transfer is immediate with full understanding of the intention and meaning, and deep with knowledge that she has no prior learning. Sometimes meaning and understanding comes with words from other languages, symbols or even equations that she has no human experience of.

Trance Channeling:
A form of channeling where the medium enters an altered state of consciousness, allowing a purported spirit or entity to communicate directly through their body. In trance channeling, the medium may have limited or no awareness of the communication and often experiences physiological changes such as altered heart rate, breathing patterns, and body temperature.

Transcendental Meditation:
Transcendental Meditation (TM) is a specific form of silent meditation developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, involving the repetition of a mantra to achieve a state of relaxed awareness and higher consciousness. Practiced for 15-20 minutes twice daily, TM aims to reduce stress and promote self-development, though its benefits are subject to ongoing research and debate. Anne's methodology of ModernPrayer uses similar processes of mind control combined with channeling and getting into higher states of consciousness.

Transpersonal Psychology:

A branch of psychology that integrates spiritual and transcendent aspects of human experience with the framework of modern psychology.

Trefoil Knot:
A mathematical concept in topology, representing a knot that cannot be untied in three-dimensional space without cutting it. As defined by Mark Fiorentino, Mathematician, it is determined as the smallest particle in our unified field of existence that holds everything together. You could call the Trefoil Knot the 'God particle'.

Ultra-terrestrial:
Beings or phenomena that exist beyond the limits of Earth, transcending ordinary terrestrial existence. This concept often refers to entities that are not necessarily from other planets, but exist in dimensions or states of consciousness beyond our typical three-dimensional awareness.

Unified Field Theory:
A theoretical approach aiming to describe all fundamental forces and elementary particles in terms of a single field. It seeks to unify the four known fundamental forces: strong nuclear, weak nuclear, electromagnetic, and gravitational.

Unity Consciousness
A state of awareness where individual identity dissolves into a unified field of interconnected existence. Often achieved through meditation, mystical experiences, or psychedelics, it reflects the Electric Universe Theory’s vision of a life-coherent cosmos where all beings resonate as "eyes and ears of the divine".

Walk in

This is a term describing the process of a voluntary possession of a (generally) positive spirit working to assist the human get through some difficult experiences or where specific skills are required. A soul can partly leave the body or dissociate due to trauma and another consciousness comes to assist. An example would be Anne's own story of being left at home taking care of her younger siblings when 3 years old. It seems unfathomable that a child of 3 could change nappies, feed and care for 2 younger babies but on remote viewing Anne could see that a walk in came to assist bringing adult skills for survival to guide and protect her through the process. Once the task was in hand and safety resumed then the walk in spirit would leave. It is also possible for negative spirits to fill the gap for the purposes of fulfilling their own agenda including enabling substance issues or to block the soul path of someone for a variety of reasons. The key to discerning would be to determine if the walk in was for 'highest good' and if not a process of soul retrieval and commanding the negative spirit to leave. See also 'Possession'.

Wave-Particle Duality:
The principle that particles can exhibit both wave-like and particle-like properties.
